The final fight for Fight Times Magazine 2 features Lysa in her first fight in the AWC. Lysa wants desperately to get off to a good start as she tries to get her first win in the AWC. Her opponent for the fight is cheerleader Melinda. She welcomes the opportunity to break in a new fighter and anticipates getting another win to improve her standing in the AWC.
Melinda (5’5 115 pounds 19 y/o) is from South Florida. She is currently a college student and a member of the school’s cheer squad. Her goal is to become a physical trainer. She is strong for her size and very flexible. Melinda’s short interview response about why she would be a good Apartment fighter — “Girls always see my beauty and forget how strong physically and mentally I really am. They will take me for granted and end up beaten.” Coming into the fight, Melinda is currently 2-2 in the AWC.

Lysa (5’4 110 lbs 20 y/o) lives near Portland, but originally born in Toronto. Her knack for perfectionism has allowed her to excel as a 4.0 student at the expense of a “know-it-all” attitude and reputation. Lysa is incredibly driven and picks up hobbies and obsessions as if she is magnetically drawn to them. Wresting is one of her more recent passions and she has crammed “training” time into her overly full sixteen hour day schedule. She is a well-know cosplayer in the local area as has made a comfortable living modeling her geeky outfits and/or winning various competitions. After having a few teen catfight league matches, the AWC is her next logical adventure. Lysa’s response about why she would be a good Apartment Fighter – “I may not have a lot of experience, but I’m pretty sure I know more about their Apartment Fighting craft than most of the girls. Every fight is going to be just another opportunity for me to prove just that – brains trump brawn any day!!!”

Each studied the other carefully as they posed for the pre-fight photos.With the command to start given, both fighters drop into a fighting stance and begin to circle one another patiently. During the struggle, Melinda lands a sharp slap on Lysa’s ass generating a yelp of pain from Lysa.Another view of the struggle on the floor.Melinda continues on the attack now as she snakes her legs up and around an unsuspecting Lysa. Melinda’s experience shows here as she captures Lysa and begins to squeeze her body. The groans of pain coming from Lysa are a testament to the power in Melinda’s legs. Melinda continues to slap at Lysa’s ass in an attempt to add a mental element to the physical pain she is applying to Lysa. Lysa is positioning her legs to try and kick a foot into Melinda’s face, but the blonde is able to temporarily avoid the foot.Another view of Lysa being forced to the floor in Melinda’s scissors.Lysa’s foot finally finds its way into Melinda’s face and after several moments of struggling to avoid the foot, Melinda tries to shift her position and her scissor hold. Lysa is able to slip free and she struggles to get off the floor and away from Melinda. The cheerleader catches her leg in a scissors and grabs hold of Lysa in an effort to maintain control of her opponent.Another view of Melinda working to maintain her grip on Lysa.Lysa pulls free of Melinda’s grip and scurries several feet away before spinning around on her knees to face Melinda who scrambled up to her knees. The two immediately press forward and a struggle for control breaks out. Lysa shoves her hand into Melinda’s face and throws a punch at her belly as the cheerleader goes for a two-handed grip on Lysa’s hair. Both fighters curse at the other as they lock up.Another view of the struggle.Melinda grunts from the punch to the belly and Lysa shoves forward toppling Melinda over and onto her back. Reacting quickly, Melinda pulls her legs up and stops Lysa’s progress by hooking her opponent around the hips and waist area.Another view as the fight goes to the floor.Lysa tries to fight her way through Melinda’s legs on her hips and the cheerleader counters each of Lysa’s attempts holding her at a stalemate. After several moments, Melinda is able to get a hand on Lysa’s face and uses her legs to drag Lysa over onto her side.Another view of Melinda rolling Lysa to her side.Melinda attempts to scissor Lysa, but she is able to block quickly block the attempt and avoid what might have been a brutal submission hold. Lysa’s efforts force Melinda over Lysa’s head and throws her off balance on her hands and knees. Melinda struggles to break free, but Lysa securely captures the leg and pushes her body into the hold as she bends Melinda. Not content with a surrender, Lysa rolls her opponent over and positions herself over her face. With the cheerleader flat on her back, Lysa drops into the splits over the top of her opponent’s face showing off her flexibility as she celebrates her win.
