Pacific Club Report

News and gossip from the Pacific Club will be posted here.  The latest stories will be at the top of the page.

Report 3

The Club has looked shaky against fighters from the U.S.  I expect there will be some turnover or some strategic match scheduling to try and change that up.  The Club Championship will be on the line soon.  Looks like Peyat might be in line for that shot at Bao.  Anushka seems to believe it is her title challenge, but she has lost to Bao before.  My guess is she is going to be extremely angry if she gets passed over.

I hear rumors that the Club is doing some tag team training in anticipation of that being added by the AWC as a possible World Title in the coming months.  Seems they wanted to get a jump on the team work part of the concept.  I haven’t heard yet who they are looking to pair up for the team.  Stay tuned.

Report 2

The Pacific Club management team is pleased to announce the addition of Shriya and Peyat to the Pacific Club.  Both fighters have fought against Club members as independent fighters prior to being accepted as members in the Club.  The Pacific Club will also hold a small tournament to select a representative for an International tournament coming up in the next few months.

Here are the biographic references for Shriya and Peyat.  We look forward to seeing them in action again soon.

Shriya (5’6 128lbs 27 y/o) lives near New Delhi.  She works as a flight attendant and spends most of her time when she isn’t working travelling the world.  Her schedule puts her in hotel gyms on a regular basis  and she loves a good workout.  She also loves to dance and party and considers a long night at the club on the dance floor a good workout.  Shriya’s response about why she would be a good Apartment fighter — “I’m mean and tough.  I won’t stop until whoever challenges me is battered and begging me for mercy.”

Peyat (5’2 112lbs 24 y/o) lives in Bangkok.  She works in a small grocery store during the day and in a bar at night.  The rumor is that she has been involved with an underground fighting club that  holds street style fights in various bars and clubs.  She is in very good shape and seems to train in some capacity.  Peyat sees the Club as a way to become a legitimate fighter.  Peyat’s response about why she would be a good Apartment fighter — “I am tough as hell.  I don’t take no bullshit from anyone or anytime.  I like to hurt other women that try to take what is mine.  I will dominate these soft girls.”

Report 1

I’ve been hearing a lot of negativity in Japan. The two Japanese girls have not done well and that isn’t sitting well with leadership.

Anushka has been talking about getting a chance for a title shot against Bao. I’m also hearing that Charlotte is seeking the same thing. That might be a fun fight to see.

Sukara has gotten a lot of positive attention after her win to get into the tournament.
